LOW MILEAGE 72k LOTS OF £££ SPENT RELUCTANT SALE :(
SEAT LEON FR TDI 150 200407851510763francis.smith2@virgin.netDon`t just browse on here! Come and physically see the car! You will LOVE it!I have decided ...> to include 12 months TAX and 12 months MOT with the car for peace of mind. This will be done within the next week or soHere we have my stunning Seat Leon 1.9 TDI 150 very reluctantly for sale :(I`d like to start by saying that the ONLY reason i am selling my pride and joy is simply that i cannot afford to keep it after just having had my wages cut in HALF at work!About the car.I have been the most recent caring owner since July last year. Previous to me i believe there have been 3 others.I have a total of around £7,200 worth of receipts for the car... it has had the following sensible modifications:Seat Leon Cupra R GENUINE front bumper professionally painted with an exact color match! £664HID Headlight Kit £45Personally remapped the engine using specialist delicate software (no clutch or turbo killing remap... i have previously learned the hard way on my old car!) £50iPhone and iPod JVC Headunit CD player with Bluetooth music play facility and built in hands free! £250Dare Ghost Alloy wheels with 4 tyres £760FULL STAINLESS STEEL TURBO BACK POWERFLOW EXHAUST SYSTEM! £908Allard engine pipe kit £320Large front mount intercooler (3x bigger and more efficient than standard) £493 including pipes etcNew standard gearbox with uprated bearings (common problem with VAG group cars) £550Drilled and grooved disk brakes all round with red painted callipers £200EGR DELETE VALVE £80K&N Induction kit with pipe and air filter £85There are probably other things i have missed, but you can see how much time and money i have put into this car myself, as had the previous owner, who was a Honda mechanic.I currently can`t find the original service book however i do have a KwikFit service manual with 1 stamp in it from 26/03/2009 at 36088 miles. There are a few small issues with the car which i would like to be completely up front and honest about... they are as follows:-(I have decided to have these issues looked at and possibly rectified before the sale of the car).On pulling away and parking there is a noticeable creaking sound from the front nearside of the car. I have put this down to possibly needing a wishbone or wishbone rubbers... Maybe possibly wheel bearing... either way i`m confident that it will be a cheap fix... i would do it myself but literally don`t have a penny to spend on the car any more :(.Other issue is that there is an engine management light on the dashboard. This is just a sensor fault which needs clearing and the sensor replacing... The error message is that the car is pumping out slightly higher levels of CO2 than expected... This is because of the EGR delete and de-cat.A couple more very minor issues worth mention are that the rear nearside passenger window needs a new switch as it doesn`t wind UP the window (never bothered me)and there is a slight dent in the offside rear passenger door where i think someone opened the door onto something.I would highly recommend coming to view the car and bring a mechanic if you wish and have a drive of the car. It really does run super smooth and is very nippy and responsive!Payment will be cash on collection from Poole in Dorset within 7 days of auction end.Thank you very much for taking the time to look at my car today. I wish you all the best in the search for your perfect car :) X

excellent condition
*** 57 SEAT LEON FR TDI 170 ***The time has come to sell my beautiful Seat Leon FR TDI. I am a Lady owner who has cherished and loved this car (hoovered, ...> washed and cleaned every week without fail). I have only used this car on a weekend basis as I walk to work (only a mile down the road). This car is an absolute headturner, with great performance and excellent economical benefits (approx 50mpg), excellent to drive. It is a 2007 (57) FR TDI 170. It is Chrono yellow with ORIGINAL BTCC body kit from Seat with receipts (not the common poor quality replicas). It has the orginal Remus dual exit pipe and Black 18" Orion Alloys upgrade which are the best looking in my opinion. Has the usual FR spec plus additional extras including air conditioning, cruise control, traction control, climate control, electric mirrors, CD/Radio player etc.FULL BTCCBlack spoilerBlack 18" Orion AlloysBlack side mirrorsBlack lower lip for rear bumperRemus Dual exit exhaustPreviously owned by a company. It has approx 54k miles and still in daily use. The car has full Seat service history, recently also privately serviced the car. All the injectors have recently been replaced by Seat due to a recall. MOT and TAX until October 2012. Also have 2 keys for the car. The car is Hpi clear. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive. Will be sad to see this stunning and unique car go. Hopefully the new owner will appreciate it as much as I do.I am looking for £10250 ovnoNo test pilots. You will not be disappointed, first to see will buy, be quick! Reasonable offer will be accepted. No time wasters or silly offers! Please note the car is also advertised elsewhere. 6 ISSUES FOR £1 Search Car Reviews: You're in - Car Reviews: Long Term Tests SEAT Leon SEAT Leon FR TDI There's a bright new addition making an impact on our fleet in the shape of SEAT's sporty Leon Auto Express Car Reviews Bright paint stands out more than optional bodykit. By David RossJanuary 2007 But one extra I didn't go for was the optional bodykit. It can be seen here fitted to another Leon FR, but I reckon it's a bit brashAccording to the experts, silver is the number one colour choice for new cars. Good for resale values and hiding dirt it may be, but let's face it - it's dull. That's why I opted for something altogether more garish when it came to choosing our new long-term Seat Leon FR - Crono yellow. In fact, I have a history of owning unusually coloured cars. My first set of wheels was a very second-hand Ford Fiesta MkI that came in a delightful colour known as 'primrose yellow', which proved ideal for hiding rust.Eleven years down the line, I'm back with a yellow car, but this time it's totally my choice. I think the paintjob complements the Leon's lines and highlights its aggressive nose and high waistline. It's also easy to find in a packed car park. But one extra I didn't go for was the optional bodykit. It can be seen here fitted to another Leon FR, but I reckon it's a bit brash. If anything, it gives the Leon a bloated look and has a slight aftermarket feel, particularly those gaping gill-like false vents. Even worse, at £2,500, it's incredibly expensive. One option I did decide to pick was the larger £350 18-inch alloy wheels. They look great, but sadly a visit to an Arc car wash in South Wales over Christmas resulted in considerable damage to the driver's side front wheel. Apparently this can happen to cars fitted with low-profile tyres in some pull-through washes - you have been warned! All credit to the company, though. Following a swift E-mail, they sent out a customer services manager who assessed the damage and agreed to pay £245 for a replacement wheel. The firm claims it is now altering its carwash set-up to prevent further incidents, but to be on the safe side I'll be sticking to a bucket and sponge from now on!The final decision I had to make was what went under the bonnet. The 2.0-litre T-FSI petrol unit - which is shared with the VW Golf GTI and Audi TT - was tempting, but with a 160-mile daily commute, fuel economy is an important factor, so I've gone for the 168bhp TDI diesel. We've already sampled this high-output version of the VW Group 2.0-litre oil-burner in the Passat and Skoda Octavia vRS, but haven't been very impressed with its rather sudden power delivery and coarse engine note. It's certainly better in the lighter Leon, although refinement is still in short supply, particularly at start-up. Its highly tuned nature means that driving in traffic can be a chore while you wait for the turbo to spin up, and a short first gear doesn't help matters. Things are much better on motorways and A-roads, where you can use the 350Nm of torque for effortless cruising. Other downsides? The ride is firm - as you would expect from a performance hatch - but it's also quite crashy on country lanes and is unpleasant for passengers. The boot isn't overly generous, either, and annoyingly the hatch always requires two shoves to get it closed properly - our long-term Golf GTI was the same. These gripes aside, the Leon has proved an excellent companion, covering more than 1,000 miles in a week over Christmas. Most of that was in patchy fog, when the stand-out yellow paint didn't seem such a silly idea after all... Styling: it’s based on the VW Golf, but the Leon’s looks are a million miles apart. The styling turns heads, and the yellow paint further enhances the shape. Expert Rating: If the idea of one car that does almost everything appeals, the 170bhp SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI FR makes a decent fist of the job. Andy Enright reportsOnly a fortunate few of us have the budget for a sensible family car and a self-indulgent weekend plaything. Although a family hatch and a lightweight sports roadster would make an ideal pair, pressures on space, the costs of running two cars and the inevitable arguments as to who gets what often mean that one car is a more practical solution. Sadly the list of cars that can entertain and work for their corn while at the same time being economical to buy and run is rather short. The SEAT Leon 2. 0 TDI FR, however, might just be the best of the lot.For a start, you get a car that looks the part. With all the racy FR body styling and mean-looking alloy wheels, this Leon is no apologetic Q-car. Couple that swagger with a sports suspension set up that encourages sporty driving, a 170bhp diesel engine of genuine muscularity and the ability to turn in a scarcely credible 56.5mpg at the pumps and you have a car that has an awful lot going for it. Did I mention that it only costs £17,745, has five doors, a whole heap of equipment and is cheaper to insure than a Kia Magentis? Perhaps now you can see why this car is so eminently buyable. Although the on-paper performance figures are respectable enough, as with all powerful diesel cars the subjective seat of the pants feel makes the Leon seem a whole lot quicker than its sprint to 60mph of 8.2 seconds would suggest. Itll top out at 135mph but the huge amount of torque in the midrange is perfect for putting a lesson on tailgating reps in their Mondeos. With 258 lb/ft of torque available, this Leon has an engine a good deal brawnier than that of a Mercedes E350, a BMW 530i, a Porsche Boxster S or even a 4.0-litre Jeep Grand Cherokee. With this amount of muscle available to aid overtaking manoeuvres, the Leon 2.0 TDI FR just sails past dawdlers without having to unduly worry the six-speed gearbox which is, should you decide to use it, one of the better units of its type. Accelerate the car away from rest and when the turbocharger comes on stream, the Leon feels almost alarmingly quick. The power delivery is certainly a good deal more dramatic than many more powerful cars and in the wet youll be glad of the standard fit traction control system as the front tyres would otherwise have a tough task of transmitting that maelstrom of torque to the tarmac."The power delivery is a good deal more dramatic than in many more powerful cars "The £17,745 sticker price looks like a reasonable piece of business, especially as the less powerful and much less low-key TDI 140bhp model retails at just £1,000 less. The FR styling kit is worth that premium alone, comprising exclusive bumpers front and rear, racy 17" alloy wheels (with 18" versions as an option), sports seats, white instrumentation, twin stainless steel exhaust pipes, an FR-specific steering wheel and gearlever, plus a number of further FR logos inside and out. The on-board computer is fun to play with whilst sitting in traffic and will give you the opportunity to note quite how little fuel youre consuming compared to the guy in the bland econobox sitting in front of you. Climate control and a six-CD multichanger also ease the tedium of those moments when the road isnt exactly something out of a SEAT brochure. Standard safety equipment includes anti lock brakes, traction control, front and side airbags and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The whole package is then protected by remote central locking with deadlocks, an immobiliser and a volumetric alarm. The handling is sharpened up considerably over lesser diesel Leons, but the fact remains that the Leon chassis isnt the sharpest on the block and that diesel engine is a very weighty thing to have up front. Drive at ten tenths and youll find the Leon a safe understeerer but few should pilot their car in this fashion on the road and at sensibly brisk speeds, the Leon feels nicely all of a piece, the uprated suspension suppressing body roll well and the steering offering decent feedback. The only real gripe comes when trundling through pot holed city streets where the firm ride and low profile tyres offer little in the way of cosseting. Compared to a Ford Focus, there's a decent amount of space in the back, and with five doors access is always good - coupe roofline notwithstanding. The luggage bay is also of very decent dimensions and the split folding rear seat only adds to the Leons practicality. Sheer space apart however, that interior should be seen as one of the SEAT's strongest suits. Like all VW-sourced products, you feel behind the wheel that you're in something much more expensive, thanks to the choice of trim materials and the way the switches and stalks snap into place with an expensive click. There are lovely touches everywhere, including a steering wheel adjustable for rake and reach. The after sales package is strong too, with a years road tax included as well as a 24-month unlimited mileage warranty, a 3 year/60,000 mile warranty as backup and five years SEAT roadside assistance including cover in 33 countries in and bordering Europe. The SEAT Leon 2. 0 TDI FR is a supremely talented all rounder. Few affordable cars combine this level of practicality, performance, parsimony and panache. Its one of those deals that has you repeatedly looking for the catch but there isnt one. Products this strong arent too thick on the ground. hatch, the 168bhp Leon FR TDI.Technical highlights? It’s got to be the engine,
even though the 2.0-litre common-rail unit isn’t exactly new. You have to admit
the ability to combine a 0-60mph time of 8.2secs with the promise of 53.3mpg
and 139g/km of CO2 looks good on paper. This engine is only available in the
FR.What’s it like to
drive?A typical SEAT. This is
both good and bad. Lacking the power to truly test the chassis the overall
driving balance is better than that of the petrol Cupra or Cupra R, which are
characterised by how much of the power you can use at any one time. This one
will take all you can throw at it almost all the time. The engine’s strong from
2000rpm and the torque flow doesn’t let up until after 4000rpm, the tail-off
signalled by extra coarseness and a lessening of the turbo flow. But does it
have the capacity to excite? Nope. This is the fundamental problem with the FR
TDI. It’s a brisk, competent car, it looks good, feels coupe-ish from behind
the wheel and at a standstill sends some pretty strong messages along the right
neural pathways. But diesel power simply
isn’t a good starting point for a hot hatch. Renaultsport proved with the last
generation Megane dCi that it can be done well given the right dynamics, but
the Leon doesn’t have that fallback position. The front end, pressed into the
road by the heavy engine, is more weighty and trustworthy here than in the
Cupra, the steering less artificial as a result, but each corner is tackled in
isolation, there’s no sense of flow. Nor does the FR have the Cupra R’s longer
rubber suspension bushes, so manhole covers and potholes, even modest expansion
joints, punch straight through the suspension’s defences. This dynamic
tenseness contrasts with the engine’s relaxed delivery. How does it compare? The fast diesel hatch
class is gaining momentum. At the moment main rival is the Golf GTD, but
Renault should soon be back with another rapid diesel Megane. The best engine
and handling belongs to BMW’s 123d, but at £24,565, it’s much more money.Anything else I need to
know?You’ll get about 48mpg on
a long run, 40mpg if you’re going for it. Giorgetto Giugiaro Seat Leon (1M) rear The initial SEAT León (Volkswagen Group Typ 1M), launched in 1999,[2] was the hatchback version of the SEAT Toledo. It was based on the Volkswagen Group A4 (PQ34) platform and, as such, shared many components in common with other VW Group models such as the Volkswagen Golf Mk4, Bora and Audi A3. As SEAT's first C-segment model as part of the VW Group, the León Mk1 was marketed as a sportier and cheaper variant of the Golf. To reinforce the sporty image, the vehicle had slightly more aggressive looks. The more expensive versions were equipped with powerful internal combustion engines, along with firmer suspension to improve handling. In the interior, the dashboard was derived from that of the first-generation Audi A3.
Available engines were the 1.4 litre 16 valve petrol engine which produced a DIN-rated 55 kilowatts (75 PS; 74 bhp), a 1.6 litre 8 valve petrol engine 74 kilowatts (101 PS; 99 bhp) (quickly replaced with a 16 valve 77 kilowatts (105 PS; 103 bhp) unit), and included two variants of the Volkswagen Group's 20 valve turbocharged 1.8 litre powerplant, (with some countries also getting the 2.8 litre VR6 engine delivering 150 kilowatts (204 PS; 201 bhp). The original "León Cupra" (which later became known as the "Cupra T") had a 1.8 litre Turbo with 132 kilowatts (179 PS; 177 bhp), and the "León Cupra R" 154 kilowatts (209 PS; 207 bhp), later becoming 165 kilowatts (224 PS; 221 bhp).
In some countries, there was also a "Cupra 4", equipped with a 2.8 litre VR6 delivering 150 kilowatts (204 PS; 201 bhp) equipped with four-wheel drive, based on the same Haldex Traction multi-plate clutch as the Volkswagen Golf 4motion.[3]
A range of Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) diesel engines was available, including a 110 kilowatts (150 PS; 148 bhp) version of Volkswagen Group's 1.9 TDI engine, originally sold as a "Cupra 4 TDI", with 4WD, that was sold for one year only, and only in certain countries, then passed to "Evolution" series, then "Top Sport", and later rebranded as the "FR" (formula Racing). Lesser diesel versions were available with 66 kilowatts (90 PS; 89 bhp), 81 kilowatts (110 PS; 109 bhp) and 96 kilowatts (131 PS; 129 bhp) outputs.
All engines over 96 kilowatts (131 PS; 129 bhp) have a standard six-speed manual transmission. Rear suspension was by torsion beam for most variants, whilst high-end models were fitted with a multi-link independent rear suspension. All versions came with disc brakes on all four wheels (the front ventilated, and in some cars the rear too).
In Mexico, the León became a very popular car with upper class young people.[citation needed] The only problem the León has suffered in Mexico is the fact that the sport tuned suspension of the León is not designed to withstand the constant road imperfections such as potholes and speed bumps that abound in Mexican roads.[citation needed]
In Switzerland, there was another official version tuned by Abt Sportsline of the León called "SEAT León Cupra 4 Kompressor". This version had the same 4WD and 2.8 litre VR6 but with 206 kilowatts (280 PS; 276 bhp) and 323 newton metres (238 ft·lbf) of torque.[4][5][6]
Factory production of the Typ 1M ended in May 2006.[1] However, the appreciation for the SEAT León Cupra R Mk1's appeal remained clear still up to the 'best hot hatchback of all time' poll conducted in 2010 by the British magazine Autocar, in which its readers honoured the Cupra R with the seventh position in the top ten list of hatchbacks of all time in their preferences.[7]

Walter de'Silva SEAT León Cupra. Facelifted SEAT León. The current León, Typ 1P, was released in 2005, with factory production commencing May 2005.[1] It is based on the Volkswagen Group A5 (PQ35) platform, most notably used by the Volkswagen Golf Mk5. It is built in Spain, and has a sharper exterior look with vertically parked windscreen wipers, and the external rear door handles more integrated, in a similar style to that seen on recent Alfa Romeo models. Design was handled by Walter de'Silva, and the car uses the same design style that started with the SEAT Altea.
The base model on offer is the new 16 valve 1.2 litre TSI petrol engine with 77 kilowatts (105 PS; 103 bhp) [9]. In some markets (e.g. Greece), the Leon is available with a 1.4 litre MPI engine producing 63 kilowatts (86 PS; 84 bhp). The sportier variants begin with the 110 kilowatts (150 PS; 148 bhp) 2.0 litre Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI) and the popular 103 kilowatts (140 PS; 138 bhp) 2.0 litre Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) diesel engine. Both are fitted with a standard six-speed manual transmission, with the six-speed or seven-speed Direct-Shift Gearbox (DSG) available as an option. A 136 kilowatts (185 PS; 182 bhp) variant of the 2.0 TFSI unique to the León was later introduced, but despite a low list price and rapid performance - attracted only minimal attention and average reviews, so this was later discontinued to make way for the sportier FR variants.
The first real sporty León within the new range is the León FR with rear twin-exhaust pipes to one side, sport seats and gear stick with FR logo to distinguish it from lesser models, was introduced in June 2006, when it finally received the 147 kilowatts (200 PS; 197 bhp) 2.0 TFSI engine from the Volkswagen Golf Mk5 GTI, as well as a 125 kilowatts (170 PS; 168 bhp) variant of the 2.0 TDI unit featured in the Golf and Audi A3. While both models retained the six-speed manual, only the petrol variant can be fitted with the DSG. Further standard equipment includes climate control air conditioning.
Next in the range is the 2.0 TFSI Cupra model. It features a 177 kilowatts (241 PS; 237 bhp) engine, and a 0-100 kilometres per hour (62.1 mph) time of 6.4 seconds. The Cupra comes with standard 18" 5 twin-spoke alloys, red brake calipers, and the standard Cupra oval exhaust, as well as new, unique paint finishes and bolstered sport seats complete with the Cupra logo. Also standard are drilled-aluminium sports pedals.
At the top of the range is the 2.0 TFSI Cupra R. This uses the same 265 bhp engine found in the Audi S3, Golf and Scirocco R. Capable of 0-62 in 6.2 seconds and a top speed limited to 155 mph.
From 2008, the K1 variant of the León Cupra was introduced in the UK, featuring extensively re-worked front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a more pronounced tailgate spoiler. It also gained a unique chrome-tipped, centrally-mounted, oval exhaust. The K1 is considered to be a limited edition model, as production was only for the year 2008-2009 and it only being available in the UK.
In 2009 the SEAT León Cupra was turned into a race car in the ‘SEAT Cupra race’ mobile game for Apple iPhone/iPod touch available through the iTunes' App store.[10]

[edit] Copa Edition Mexican orange SEAT León Copa Edition In 2008, SEAT Deutschland announced the production of 55 units of the SEAT León Copa Edition.[19] This limited edition is powered with 2.0 TFSI engine improved to 210 kilowatts (286 PS; 282 bhp) of maximum power, and 360 newton metres (266 ft·lbf). Maximum speed is 255 kilometres per hour (158.4 mph) and 0-100 km/h (62.1 mph) time is 5.9 seconds.[20] The suspension is an Eibach derived from the León Supercopa, and the brakes have been improved to cope with the uprated engine. In addition, the car includes xenon HID headlights, 18 inch wheels and a spoiler with larger air intakes.[21] The car colour is orange with black stripes.
SEAT México announced the production of 100 units of the Copa Edition in orange color with black stripes in September 2008.[22] The Mexican version has a sunroof, whilst the European León Copa does not.
[edit] Streetcopa and World Champion Edition
At the 2008 Geneva Auto Show, the León Streetcopa limited edition was released. It was a similar edition of León Copa Edition with some changes, designed for the Swiss market and limited to 200 units.[23][24] Lately, after SEAT won World Touring Car Championship, SEAT Schweiz released a facelifted version called León World Champion Edition, also limited to 200 units.[25]
[edit] Cupra 310 Limited Edition
SEAT Nederland announces the production of León Cupra 310 Limited Edition, with 2.0 TFSI engine upgraded to 228 kW (310 PS; 306 bhp) of maximum power and 425 newton metres (313 ft·lbf).[26] The production has limited to 100 units.[27]
It comes only in Candy white or Infiri black. The Cupra 310 Limited Edition features beside the OEM Cupra equipment an engine management remapping by Abt Sportsline, black Orion-alloy wheels, an alarm system, bluetooth connectivity and special 310 Limited Edition badges on the sides and the rear hatch. There are also stainless decals inside the front door frames displaying the 310 Ltd logo. A badge on the dashboard displays the serial number, and the car is delivered with a key ring to match. Full factory warranty is retained with the power increase that makes this car 259 kilometres per hour (160.9 mph) fast.
[edit] Cupra Pies Descalzos SEAT León Cupra Pies Descalzos In 2007, SEAT makes one only car custom by Shakira.[clarification needed] This car was auctioned, and the benefits went to the charity through Pies Descalzos Foundation. Mechanically, it is the same car as the León Cupra.

[edit] Electric version This section requires expansion. SEAT León Twin drive Ecomotive is a series plug-in hybrid, powered by an electric motor, through lithium-ion batteries chargeable at a regular electrical socket, in combination with an internal combustion engine.[29] The Twin Drive Ecomotive project is a first step towards a 100% electric car and is planned to go for production in 2014.[30][31]

See also: SEAT León Supercopa SEAT León at the 2006 World Touring Car Championship The first generation SEAT León Cupra R was the basis of a one-make trophy, the SEAT León Supercopa. It operated in Spain, UK, Germany and Turkey from 2003. The car was developed by SEAT Sport and power was raised to 184 kilowatts (250 PS; 247 bhp). An "International Masters" final, featuring the best four drivers from each national series, was introduced in October 2005, as a support race for the Spanish GT Championship's final round at Montmeló. A TDI-powered version has raced in the ECTS, an Italian-based endurance series for touring cars.
During 2005, SEAT introduced the second generation León into the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) to replace the Toledo Cupra which it had raced in the early rounds of the title. The car features several modifications, including a racing engine that develops over 191 kW (260 PS; 256 bhp), a Hewland sequential-shift gearbox (unrelated to the DSG), and an aerodynamic package for increased downforce (with its hatchback shape, the León is disavantaged against conventional three-box saloons). Minimum weight is 1,140 kilograms (2,513.3 lb) with driver. SEAT Sport, in partnership with Oreca, runs six cars in the WTCC. Two other cars are run by SEAT Sport UK (Northern South) based in Northampton, UK in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). A further two cars are run by SEAT Sport Italia in the Italia Superturismo Championship.
In 2006, the Supercopa León was replaced by the new shape León. The car is potentially faster than the WTCC version, as it features a turbocharged 2.0 litre engine, with over 221 kW (300 PS; 296 bhp), increased torque, the DSG gearbox, better aerodynamics (it includes the WTCC car's front and rear spoilers, plus a venturi tunnel under the car, instead of a flat bottom), and 18 inch wheels, instead of the mandatory 17 inch wheels from the WTCC.
For 2007, the SEAT Cupra Championship in the UK (part of the TOCA Package) will run both 'New León' Cupra Race cars with 221 kW (300 PS; 296 bhp), as well as the Mk1 León Cupra R race car with 184 kW (250 PS; 247 bhp).
The SEAT León Eurocup began in 2008 as a support series for the World Touring Car Championship.
In 2008, Yvan Muller won the FIA World Touring Car Championship for Drivers at the wheel of a León TDI, and SEAT won the Manufacturers' title.
In 2009, Gabriele Tarquini became the Drivers' Champion with the León TDI, and SEAT won the Manufacturers' title for a second consecutive year.
